Dr. Margarita Taushanova graduated from the Medical Academy, Sofia.

She has worked in the Department of Neurology and Department of Endocrinology at the Vidin General Hospital, Oncology clinic of USBALO – Sofia, Oncology clinic of Tsaritsa Joanna University Hospital – Sofia and currently at the Oncology clinic of Nadezhda Hospital in Sofia.

Dr. Margarita Taushanova acquired two specialties: Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Her professional interests are in the field of diagnosis and treatment of breast carcinoma and other solid tumors. In 2013, she obtained her PhD “Treatment and diagnosis of triple negative carcinoma of the mammary gland”.

Her publication activity includes over 50 scientific articles in Bulgarian and foreign journals. He has participated as a lecturer in Bulgarian and international medical forums on oncology.

She is the co-author of the first consensus in Bulgaria on diagnosis and treatment of pregnant and cancer patients. Participates in the author’s collective of a textbook on medical oncology, a textbook on breast carcinoma, etc.

She is a member of the Board of the Bulgarian Association of Medical Oncology (BAMO) and a permanent member of ESMO, ASCO, Young Oncologist’s Club and the Bulgarian Medical Union.

Well appreciated and respected by her colleagues and patients Dr. Taushanova was nominated for the award “Doctors we trust”.
